Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator

The aim of this course is to enable candidates to effectively administer CPR and to deliver the safe application of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Completion of this course will provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify casualties suffering from cardiac arrest, competently deliver lifesaving CPR and apply an AED to significantly increase the chances of survival.

Certification Safety Training Awards (STA) Certificate of Training (with SQA Accreditation) valid for 3 years

Course Length 4 hours

Maximum Participants 12 (8 if using Training for Care’s venue)

Course Fee  

  • £420 for up to 8 participants
  • £52.50 per additional participant up to a maximum of 12
