Great News! Our Open Course Programme is starting up again in January 2021. We will be running a selection of our courses which will be delivered online – see course dates
We recognise that this has been an extremely challenging time for those in the Social Care and Childcare sectors but that high quality training will still be a priority. With this in mind, we have made adjustments to enable us to train safely during Covid-19.
In order to keep our workers and learners safe, many of our training courses will now be delivered online by a live trainer which, unlike some online training solutions, allows for participants to ask questions and participate in group discussion.
Where face-to-face training is still a requirement, i.e. Moving and Handling, First Aid, and some of our Epilepsy Courses, we have made adjustments to ensure the safety of participants – read our guidance for face-to-face training during Covid-19

Our short courses are designed to provide flexible, high quality training on demand to both groups and individuals either in their own workplace or on TfC premises. All courses are led by qualified and experienced subject specialists, with course directors and lead tutors to oversee quality assurance. Fees are kept as low as possible to encourage access and to contribute to standards of care.
All courses have been developed to meet specific adult care and childcare sector mandatory and continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
Courses in First Aid and Food Hygiene are suitable for all regardless of occupation.
