Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2018
Training for Care is supporting Scottish Apprenticeship Week (5-9 March 2018). To kick things off, we asked our some of our students about their experience as a Modern Apprentice. Here’s what they had to say:
“I like being a modern apprentice as it allows me to work and learn at the same time, making me able to put my learning into practice. Plus whilst your learning you can still maintain a full time job in what you want to do, helping build on your knowledge also”
“It will help with my future when applying for others jobs as I will be fully qualified and also have the experience of working rather than just the knowledge.”
“Staff are very supportive at TfC and there is always someone there willing to help, they provide you with the knowledge that you need and a super friendly and nice learning experience”
Louise, Children and Young People SVQ3
“I like being able to study a course with individuals my age and being offered a course that covers all stages of learning”
“I like the support Training for Care provide, helps make you feel comfortable when learning”
Chelsea, Social Services and Healthcare SVQ2
“It is helpful to study and work as you can see what you are learning put into practice”
“It will help me (in the future) to feel more confident in my job role”
