Children and Young People SVQ3 MA Supported Evening Programme.
A new course based on the day release model but with a two hour Wednesday evening session each week.

For MA funding, candidates must either be under 20 years of age at the start of the qualification or be 20-29 years old and eligible for Modern Apprenticeship Enhanced Funding (Disabled/Care Experienced)
For employees under 20 years of age with limited experience of childcare but the ability and commitment to develop their skills to practitioner level. Also caters for employees aged 20-29 who have additional support needs.
This is a 16 month programme with weekly evening tutorials and support sessions (Wednesday 6.30pm – 8.30pm)
Foundation stage, Months 1 to 4 - Grounding in essential childcare knowledge; current approaches and guidance; training in core skills, employability and teamwork; preparation to perform at practitioner level; preliminary assessment
Assessment Stage, Months 5 to 16 – Developing knowledge and practice at level 3; level 3 assessment using Learning Assistant on-line portfolioÂ
