The aim of this qualification is for the candidates to attain the knowledge and practical competencies required to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations.

The aim of this qualification is to enable candidates (working in a low-risk work environment) to be able to act as an ‘appointed person’ and to take charge of the first aid arrangements.
