An Introduction to caring for people with a Learning Disability (ICPLD)

This is a newly developed course is suitable for all staff and volunteers who are new to working in the Health & Social Care sector.

This course is only available for group bookings.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain an understanding of the job role of a care worker and personal assistant and the different roles working in care together with an awareness of the range of care skills required.

  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations, principles of care and Health and Safety, to ensure the safety of yourself and your clients
