Accessibility Policy – Website Disclaimer
Training for Care (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to comply with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018, the Equality Act 2010, and follow WCAG 2.1 AA standards, as part of European and global approaches such as EN 301 549

Compliance Status
We aim for full compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA, although certain parts may not yet meet these standards. We are continually working to improve accessibility.
Non-Accessible Content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
Some images lack descriptive alt text, failing WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.1.1 — we plan to fix this by September 2025.
Some PDF documents (especially pre-2018) are not fully accessible, failing criteria such as 4.1.2; we will progressively remedy or replace essential files by June 2026.
Alternative Access
If you encounter barriers on our site, please contact us at info@tfcscotland.org.uk to request content in accessible formats (e.g., plain text, audio, large print, or Braille) or receive assistance using screen readers or other aid.
