CPR and AED

Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator

 

The aim of this course is to enable candidates to effectively administer CPR and to deliver the safe application of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Completion of this course will provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify casualties suffering from cardiac arrest, competently deliver lifesaving CPR and apply an AED to significantly increase the chances of survival.

This CPR and AED course is available as an open course or group booking.

Course Information

Course Content

  • acting safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency

  • cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

  • recovery position

  • safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)

  • choking

  • bleeding and shock

  • heart attacks

  • the first aid kit

Course Fee

  • £480 for up to 8 participants

  • £60 per additional participant up to a maximum of 12
