Achievement of this "Registered Supervisor" distance learning programme enables staff to register as Supervisors under SSSC Phase 2 requirements. The qualification has the added benefit of giving successful candidates two of the eight units required for HSC SVQ4.

Applicants must be qualified to a minimum of HSC SVQ 3 or one of the

alternative qualifications listed under the SSSC Qualifications Criteria for |

adult residential care and housing support services. They must be in a supervisory position and have opportunities to support the development of their team; both requirements are essential to demonstrate the competences needed to achieve the award.
