Hoist Training
For staff who are required to use a hoist for client transfers. Participants must have undertaken a general Moving and Handling course within the previous two years.
Please note: All hoist courses are only available at TfC’s Edinburgh venue or at purchasers’ premises where an appropriate hoist is available. Hoists used in the work place must be identified on the training planning questionnaire prior to the training session and a copy of the hoist manufacturer’s handbook made available to the trainers.
