First Aid at Work
The HSE syllabus for "suitable persons" responsible for administering first aid in medium to high risk workplaces. There is an externally assessed examination at the end of the course.
Requalification: the FAW certificate can be renewed by attending a requalification course within 3 years of achieving the previous certificate. This applies to both holders of the new qualification and the previous qualification (the 4 day course).
