Lead Tutor
Carol Provan HNC (Social Care), RMA. Carol has worked with older people since 1993; she was manager of a voluntary sector care home for ten years (until 2009) and, prior to that, a team leader for the Church of Scotland for four years. Carol has also carried out training and consultancy for national charities and the further education sector, and is now focusing on this area of her work with a special interest in training in dementia care. She is an Accredited Trainer in Dementia for The Alzheimer’s Society and has completed the Advanced Semester in Person Centred Dementia Care at Stirling University’s Dementia Services Development Centre.
